Avaton 1739 is only a breath away from our house and it is located on the roof of an Old Monastery next to the castle.
It is known for the best view in the island as it has a panoramic 360 sea view of the port and the whole Chora.
The stone walls of the Monastery surround the borders of the Venetian Castle built by Markos Sanoudos in 1207
It is also famous for its gourmet naxian cuisine with freshly produced products of the island.
